Responsible Recreation Tips with TREAD LIGHTLY ! - LIVE Tonight on Tech Net

Responsible Recreation Tips with TREAD LIGHTLY !

Season 1 / Episode 6

On this episode of Tech Net Danielle Fowles the Assistant Director of Tread Lightly joins us remotely to explain what T.R.E.A.D. principles are, and the importance of responsible recreation and why it’s so vital in our sport.

Tread Lightly! and its partners lead a national initiative to protect and enhance recreation access and opportunities by promoting outdoor ethics to heighten individuals’ sense of good stewardship. Tread Lightly!’s goal is to balance the needs of the people who enjoy outdoor recreation with our need to maintain healthy ecosystems and thriving populations of fish and wildlife. The scope of our work includes both land and water, and is representative of nearly every form of outdoor recreation including, but not limited to off-roading, hunting, recreational shooting, fishing, and boating. Tread Lightly also has a niche in promoting safe and responsible use of motorized and mechanized vehicles in the outdoors.

Remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice

We remember our fallen Heroes on Memorial Day

The Ultimate Sacrifice
- By Kelly Roper

The ultimate sacrifice is to lay down your life
For God, family, and country.
Countless soldiers have charged into battle,
Knowing they wouldn't return to their loved ones
And might never be laid to rest in their native soil.
Yet they took the risk, fought hard to the end,
And hoped their efforts would turn the tide toward victory.
They made the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow soldiers,
For their country, for you, and for me.
May God bless them eternally.

Our Southern Four Wheel Drive Association family and volunteer Board of Directors hope you and your families enjoy this Memorial Day weekend as we honor our heroes with the respect they deserve.

Thank You To All The Mothers - We Celebrate You Today!

Q. What did the mother rope say to her child?
- What?

A. “Don’t be knotty.”

While this may be just a joke it’s no joke how important our mothers truly are to each of us. It’s their kind hearts and tender loving care that help shape and guide us through childhood. Today is the day we celebrate YOU!

Thank You To All The Mothers.
