This was a special event this year. A combination of many fresh and exciting things happening all together that made this 11th annual the biggest and best TrailFest events yet. The weather this past weekend was the best I can recall at this event. The rain held out, the temperature was great, and the trails were well primed for us all at Adventure Off Road Park.

Tom and his crews put on one heck of a show. The recovery teams were very busy while the film crew onsite captured some very exciting "top secret" footage. We hope to see this sometime soon. It was a spectacular demonstration of driver and horsepower attacking a nearly vertical hill climb for hundreds of yards over giant boulders.  Much metal carnage was witnessed by many, and a new climb distance record made by buggy driver LC who almost claimed Tom's offer of a $10,000 bounty.

On the other side of the park the Obstacle Course and R\C 4x4 Race were loads of fun with prizes awarded to several top finishers. Guided trail rides went off well for a variety of groups including the Ladies ride. Dave Logan shared some information about Tread Lightly as well as recovery demos later in the day. Among all the action throughout the weekend was a ton of trail riding. Trails were in great condition and offered many miles of riding exploring over 90 trails now developed at AOP.

We will be sending out a survey soon to everyone who participated soon to gather feedback about what you liked, thought could be improved, and what was your favorite part too. In the meantime be sure to check post of your best picture or video on our Facebook group to earn free registration next year and a new SFWDA T-Shirt.
